Find what to fix first.
A focused review of an existing website or product: what is working, what is costing you, what to change first, and a plan or redesign to get there.
Not every project needs a rebuild. Often a handful of structural problems account for most of the friction: unclear messaging, navigation that does not match how people think, flows with too many steps, screens that fall apart on a phone.
A review finds those problems, and gives you a plan. If you want, I can then redesign the highest-impact pages or screens.
Impact is how much a fix improves the experience; effort is what it costs to make. Starting with high impact and low effort gets the most improvement for the least disruption.
A good fit if
- You have a live site or product and a sense that it underperforms, but not a clear reason.
- Your team is debating what to change and needs an outside, prioritised view.
- You want to improve before committing to a full redesign.
- A previous redesign did not solve the underlying problem.
What you get
- Structured review
- Messaging, structure, usability, accessibility and responsive behaviour, assessed against what visitors are trying to do.
- Prioritised findings
- Every issue ranked by impact and effort, with a recommendation you can act on.
- Annotated screens
- The problems shown on your own pages and screens, so they are easy to discuss and fix.
- Walkthrough
- The findings explained on a call or in a short recorded walkthrough, whichever suits you.
- Optional redesign
- The highest-impact pages or screens redesigned, with a system you can extend.

How does a project start?
Send a short brief through the contact form, or book a call if you would rather talk it through. I will reply with questions or a proposed next step.
How is a project priced?
Projects are scoped first, then priced. After a short brief or call you receive a written scope, timeline and price before any work starts. See ways to work together.
